Today’s post is really just a link to an interesting article that a good friend sent along to me about how to choose a therapist. As a therapist who also greatly values therapy and regularly goes myself, I’ve been on both sides of this situation. Overall, I thought it was compelling information, and though I don’t agree with everything he says, I do wholeheartedly agree with the last bit where he lists six characteristics that make a good therapist.
